Here’s my son’s HP Pavillion DV9000 laptop. it was glitchy ever since we bought it and tech support just kept blowing us off, blaming it on Vista (uhhh Vista, I’m gonna puke…). Right out of it’s one year warranty it shit the bed in the graphics department (nVidia crap was having issues) HP had extended the warranties on many of these but for some reason OURS WASN’T COVERED! For fucks sake, it was fucked up and they just said fuck off! We tried to think of some way to get some enjoyment out of this POS and this is what we came up with. ROT IN HELL HP!

If I didn’t need mine for school I would do the same. After about 6 months the motherboard started heating up and melted some of the plastic on mine. It has started to slow down significantly. NO ONE EVER EVER BUY AN HP COMPUTER THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!

hp pavillion is shamelessly the worst product ever created. pure, utter crap
had problem with my desktop they tried to charge me $1,500 to fix it. After looking on YouTube i found the problem was some microchip that overheats. i fixed it myself for around $10.

HAHA so true!!!! dv9000 suuuuuuuuuucks. I work at a computer store and i would PRAY to get a dv9000 with a broken mobo or GPU, meaning they would just throw the pc away cuz repairs cost more than a new laptop.. i’d take the screens and put them on ebay for a cool 50$, cuz their pieces of shit and break all the time too
every last laptop(pc and mac) that used nvidias m8600 was shitty, it was the chip fault, they shipped defective from nvidia and they knew about it but somehow, to this day they, claim there was NOTHING WRONG with those chips…

It’s true they suck and their idea of customer support enrages me, some indian bimbo had the nerve to mock me on the phone and she had no idea what she was talking about. I had my laptop repaired by them 2 times before the warranty went out, and it came back with severe cosmetic damage and screws missing AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME 400 BUCKS FOR THE DAMAGE THEY DID TO MY COMPUTER!!! I will never buy anything from this shit company as long as I live.
I feel you pal, I got exactly same laptop when I bought it it was 1600 bucks, after 1 year it started to glitch n ended up in the garbage, 3 of my friends got it 2 n they all throw them on the garbage.

However, I disassembled the dv6000 laptop and used the lcd screen for my Compaq laptop and the worst part is that some major parts of the dv6000 laptop is missing, which made me miss the laptop claim period.
