Hi guys , this is a fully detailed review of my acer aspire 4820tg laptop ” I’M JUST EXTENDING MY COURTESY TO FELLOW YOUTUBERS WHO TAKE IMMENSE PAIN IN REVIEWING THEIR GADGETS AND UPLOAD THEM ONLY TO GET TONNES OF HATE COMMENTS” 
My specs: Acer Aspire 4820tg Timeline X 14.3 inch LED screen (which has a crappy contrast) Core i5-480m (2.7-2.93ghz) ATI Radeon 5650 graphics card 1GB DDR3 memory+ Hypermemory (an extra 1GB) *correct me if i am wrong.. DVD Burner 3GB DDR3 RAM 500GB HDD I’ve criticized and praised various aspects of this laptop all in all i think its a good laptop but naiive-ly built i mean some things about it i dont just get!!! why the gloss keyboard outline WHY???? rest all is kinda good.. also discussed- laptop flex screen flex below dvd burner flex stability issues in floating chiclet keyboards dirt accumulation epic troll in the end

This is a bit dangerous though since the fan may turn in speeds it wasn’t supposed to but it worked for me.
Good luck with your laptop and if you figure out how to open it up without breaking it, make a video
I have a 4820GT just like yours and I had the problem you’re having with overheating all the time. Especially when playing games. According to forums this seems to be a common problem for other owners. Dust easily gets jammed in the fan and the only way to keep it from not overheating is to clean it. I tried dismounting it but it’s really hard to get open. I used a solution by putting a vacume cleaner nostrile next to the output of the fan grid and suck out the dust.

But why you said about medium and high settings?I have Same laptop and I play in Witcher 2 on Max settings without Motion Blur and I have 20-30 fps ( avg.24).And other games too.
