They’re making it just like the very first Driver game, which was definitely the best one they made. The games have always been about driving, not shooting.

Hey everyone, here’s an idea; if you don’t like the story, don’t pay attention to it! The mere fact that I can drive a speeding yellow Crown Victoria taxi-cab down the Golden Gate bridge at upwards of 100MPH, and then switch into a city bus in the oncoming lane and steer said bus into traffic on the other side including my previous cab is AWESOME. Get over it; you’re lucky that a driving/racing game even HAS a decent/unique storyline!

Why not just jump into the other racers and just drive them into a wall? A lot easier than using a truck.
